Subscription terms
Last updated: 10 October 2026
These terms apply to Pinfolk Plus and Pinfolk Host, the optional paid subscriptions to Pinfolk. They add to our Terms of service and Privacy policy. Everything social on Pinfolk stays free, with no ads.
Who you’re dealing with
- Pinfolk is provided by Caminocabs Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 806705), Prospect Hill, Finglas, Dublin, Ireland (“we”, “us”).
- When you subscribe in the app, you buy through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). For those purchases Apple or Google is the seller: they take the payment, charge VAT, send the receipt and handle billing, cancellation and refunds under their own terms (Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions, Google Play’s Terms of Service). We provide the service that the subscription unlocks.
- We don’t sell subscriptions on this website yet. If we do, these terms will say so and explain how it works.
The plans
- Pinfolk Plus: video exports without the Pinfolk watermark, 1080p video exports, premium profile styles renewed every season, alternative app icons and, for founders, a numbered Founder badge.
- Pinfolk Host: everything in Plus, and tools for people who host plans, starting with statistics for the plans you host. We’ll add more host tools over time and describe them in the app when they become part of the plan.
- What each plan includes is described at pinfolkapp.com/premium and on the subscription screen in the app. We may improve or change features. If we remove something important from a plan you pay for, we’ll tell you in advance and you can cancel.
- Badges and profile pieces earned in challenges (such as Pinfolk Originals) are never for sale and aren’t part of any plan.
Prices and taxes
- The store shows the price in your currency, with VAT or sales tax included, before you confirm. As a guide, in euros: Plus is €4.99 a month or €29.99 a year, and Host is €9.99 a month or €79.99 a year. Prices can vary by country.
- If the price of your subscription changes, the store tells you before the change. Where the law or the store requires your agreement, the new price only applies if you accept it. You can always cancel before it applies.
Automatic renewal
- Subscriptions last a month or a year and renew automatically at the end of each period. The store charges the payment method on your store account within the 24 hours before the period ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- When you cancel, you keep everything until the end of the period you’ve paid for. There are no partial refunds for the rest of a period, except where the law or the store’s rules say otherwise.
Launch offers and founder price
- From time to time we may run offers, such as an introductory price or free months for new subscribers (for example, “pay 1 month, get 3 free” on Host). The app shows each offer with its conditions before you subscribe, and the store decides who can use it (usually only people who haven’t had that plan before).
- When an offer’s period ends, the subscription renews at the regular price unless you cancel.
- Founder price: if you subscribe while a founder offer is running, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active and keeps renewing without a break. If it ends (because you cancel, or a payment fails and isn’t fixed during the store’s grace period), the founder price ends too and can’t be recovered. The Plus founder offer runs until 31 March 2027. The Host founder offer is limited to the first 1,000 hosts or until 31 March 2027, whichever comes first.
How to cancel
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Pinfolk → Cancel subscription, or open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Pinfolk → Cancel subscription, or open play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- In Pinfolk, Settings → Subscription shows your plan, when it renews or ends, and a link to manage it.
- Deleting your Pinfolk account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the store first, or the store will keep charging you.
Your right to withdraw and refunds
- If you live in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a contract made at a distance within 14 days, without giving a reason. For subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google is the seller, so you withdraw and ask for refunds with them: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google Play at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.
- When you subscribe, you ask for the service to start straight away. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, you may have to pay for the part of the period you have already used, as the law allows.
- If we start selling subscriptions on pinfolkapp.com, the website will have a clear “withdraw from the contract here” option and we will handle withdrawals and refunds for those purchases ourselves.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, including under Ireland’s Consumer Rights Act 2022.
Your account and devices
- Your plan belongs to your Pinfolk account and works wherever you sign in to that account, including on pinfolkapp.com. On a new phone, sign in with the same account (on iPhone you can also use Restore purchases).
- Family Sharing is not available for Pinfolk subscriptions.
Gifts from the Pinfolk team
Sometimes we give a plan for free for a set time, for example to early testers or to hosts in a pilot. A gift doesn’t renew, nobody is charged and no payment details are needed. When it ends, your account goes back to what you had before. We may end a gift early if the account breaks our Terms or Community guidelines.
If something goes wrong
- If a payment fails, the store may give you a grace period to update your payment method while you keep access. If it isn’t fixed, the subscription ends.
- If a feature you pay for doesn’t work, write to hello@pinfolkapp.com and we’ll help. You can also ask the store for a refund.
- If we suspend or close your account for breaking our Terms, you can cancel the subscription in the store. If we did it by mistake, contact us.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before the change applies. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring a claim there.
