Community guidelines
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Pinfolk is about getting people into the same place. These rules keep that safe and good for everyone. They apply to plans, posts, stories, comments, messages, groups and meetups arranged through Pinfolk.
Be who you are
- Use your real age (18+). No fake accounts, impersonation or accounts made to get around a block or a ban.
- Describe plans honestly: what it is, where, when, the price if there is one, and who it is for.
Respect people
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or unwanted sexual messages or advances — online or at a plan.
- No hate: nothing that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or illness.
- “No” means no. If someone blocks you or leaves, don’t contact them another way.
Keep meetups safe
- Meet in public places. Don’t pressure anyone to go somewhere private or to drink or take anything.
- Hosts: be at the meeting point on time, keep attendees informed and cancel in the app if plans change.
- Report anyone who puts others in danger. In an emergency, call your local emergency number first.
Protect privacy
- Don’t share someone else’s location, address, phone number or private photos without their permission.
- Ask before posting photos or videos of other people from a plan.
Not allowed
- Anything involving minors in a sexual way — we report it to the authorities.
- Nudity or sexual content, violence or gore, and promoting self‑harm.
- Illegal activity, weapons, drugs, and selling regulated goods.
- Spam, scams, pyramid schemes and misleading promotions. Commercial plans must say they are commercial.
Reporting and what happens next
Use “Report” on a profile, plan, post, comment or message, and “Block” to stop someone reaching you. We review reports and may remove content, limit features or close accounts. We tell you when we act on your content or account and why, and you can ask us to review the decision at hello@pinfolkapp.com.
