Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Caminocabs Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 806705) with its registered office at Prospect Hill, Finglas, Dublin, Ireland (“Pinfolk”, “we”) for using the Pinfolk app and website. By creating an account you accept them, together with our Privacy policy and Community guidelines.

Who can use Pinfolk

• You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms.
• One person per account. Keep your sign‑in secure; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
• You can’t use Pinfolk if we have removed you before, or if the law forbids it.

Plans and meeting people

• Plans are created by users, not by Pinfolk. We don’t organise, supervise or guarantee them, and we don’t check hosts or attendees.
• Meeting people in person carries risks. Meet in public places, tell someone where you’re going and leave if you feel unsafe. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
• Hosts must describe plans honestly, keep the details up to date and cancel through the app if a plan isn’t happening.
• Pinfolk doesn’t take payments for plans. If a plan shows a price, it is paid to the host at the plan; any dispute is between you and the host.

Subscriptions

Pinfolk Plus and Pinfolk Host are optional paid subscriptions, bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play. Renewal, cancellation, refunds and your right to withdraw are explained in the Subscription terms, which form part of these terms. Everything social on Pinfolk stays free.

Your content

• You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to host, store, show and share it inside Pinfolk as your settings allow, for as long as it is on the service.
• You must have the rights to what you post, and it must follow the Community guidelines.
• We may remove content or limit accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, or that put people at risk.

Location features

Sharing your live location, check‑in and activity tracking use your device’s location only when you turn them on. You control who sees your location and for how long; you can stop at any time.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with a reason unless the law or safety prevents it. You can contact us to appeal.

The service

• We work to keep Pinfolk available and safe, but it is provided “as is”. We may change or stop features.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
• Otherwise, we are not liable for what happens at plans or between users, or for indirect or unforeseeable loss.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring a claim there.
